Choose your license

From your WordPress admin, in about a minute. Open the theme’s dashboard, go to the License tab and click Activate License: a Hub window opens, you sign in with the account that made the purchase, pick it and confirm. There’s no key to copy and no purchase code to paste anywhere.

One ZIP with everything you need in it: the theme archive ready to upload to WordPress, the pro plugin that carries the theme’s licensed features, and the documentation. Install the theme, install the plugin beside it, activate the license, and that’s the whole setup.

Depends which one you bought. Regular and Premium each cover one activation, so a second site needs a second license. Agency carries unlimited activations, so one purchase runs every site you build with it. The number is on the pricing card you’re looking at, and the full wording is in our Terms & Conditions.

For as long as we publish them. How they reach you depends on where you bought: a direct purchase updates in place, so once the site is activated new versions appear in your WordPress updates screen like any other theme or plugin. An Envato purchase doesn’t get that: those updates come through the marketplace and you download and install each one by hand. That split is deliberate. A marketplace sale returns a small fraction of its price to us, and automatic delivery is one of the things buying direct pays for. Support runs on its own clock either way.

Your license carries on. The site keeps running and nothing expires or phones home to switch anything off, because we don’t put a kill switch in anybody’s website. What ends is our help with problems, which is what the support period pays for. Extending it takes a minute in your Hub account, on the license itself, under the rules in our Support Policy.

Release the activation first. Open the License tab on the old site and click Deactivate License: that frees the domain and puts the activation back on your account, ready for the new one. If you can’t get into the old site any more, do it from your Hub account instead. Your licenses list the sites they’re running on, and you can release one there yourself.

Not to use the theme, but it is where everything else is. An Envato license is sold without support, so Hub is where you register the purchase, read the documentation, and buy a support period or upgrade the license if you want one. Activation goes through the same window either way, and the account gets made as you sign in with Envato.

Yes, and where you bought it changes the terms rather than who decides. A direct purchase is refunded within 14 days without you having to make a case for it, and we still look at requests after that window closes. An Envato purchase is held to stricter rules: the same 14 days, but each request is weighed on whether something is actually wrong with the product, and it reaches us through Envato rather than directly.
